This square has three buildings meriting a visit or at least more than a cursory look. The birth house of Ignacio Agramonte is a small museum dedicated to brave local heroes of the Ten Years’ War; the church and convent of Nuestra Señora de la Merced has a fine tomb in silver; and the eclectic Ignacio Agramonte provincial museum has works of art and natural history collections.
