On the left side of Plaza de la Catedral, facing the cathedral, stands the elegant façade of the Casa de los Marqueses de Aquas Claras, built between 1751 and 1775. Today it houses the restaurant El Patio. The fountain of the patio is delightfully cooling on hot days and there is a fine view over the square from the balcony. On the same side of the square, note also the 19C Casa de Canos (public baths), now an art gallery.
