Cathedral of San Cristóbal Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Two asymetric bell towers frame the typically Baroque façade of this cathedral surrounded by palaces on all sides. Built between 1748 and 1758 and dedicated to the Virgin, it is also known as San Cristobal in honour of Christopher Columbus. The façade is the main feature, but the interior is also worth a look for its altar and frescoes of Italian inspiration, and its statue (copy) of the Virgin of Caridad del Cobre, Cuba’s patron saint.
