On Avenida de las Misiones (parallel to the Prado) stands an austere 1950s building housing the Cuban collection of the museum of fine art. Inside, a fine exhibition space over three floors displays the nation’s art from the 16C to the present; there is also a pleasant sculpture garden. Note in particular the works by Wilfredo Lam
