This is the only residence dating from the 19C on Plaza Mayor and has an interesting history; it was built on the ruins of a palace belonging to a famous conquistador who went into exile in Mexico in 1518. Modernity prevails here; it houses the Galería de Arte Universal dealing with works by contemporary artists and artisans. After admiring the creations on show on the ground floor, head upstairs for a splendid panoramic view of the square.
