Old City: Church of Our Lady of Tyn Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
A simple church has stood here since the 10C, frequented by foreign merchants who negotiated in the walls of the Tyn. In 1270, it was replaced by a first Gothic building, succeeded by the current one, started in 1380 but not finished until the late 15C when the roof was finally placed on in 1465. With its two square towers topped with worrying arrows, belfries and towers sharpened like knives, this looks more like a castle for black magic than a place of belief in the greatness of Heaven.
