The number and quality of the edifices dotted around the Liechtenstein domain are one of the reasons for its inclusion on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Most are the work of thee Liechtenstein architects, Josef Hardmuth (1758-1816) and Josef Kornhäusel (1782-1860). The domain's highspots are the Kolonáda (Colonnade) finished in 1823, Dianin chrám (temple of Diane) and its triumphal arch and the border castle built, as its name suggests, on what was the border between Austria and Moravia in 1827.
