Parque Nacional del Este, over 400km² between land and sea, is home to an exceptional variety of flora and fauna including several hundred species of plants and wildlife, some of which are endemic or endangered, such as the whale shark and manatee. This unspoiled headland and the island of Saona, fringed by beautiful beaches and sanctuary to migrating birds, make up this huge domain.
