Bahía de Rincón is one of the most enchanting spots of Hispaniola; it can be reached by boat (15min), 4WD, motorbike or horse. Picnic tables to sample the fresh fish. To the northwest (to the left when looking at the sea), you can see the mouth of the Caño Frío, a murky stream of water, home to a small mangrove rich in epiphytes, hanging plants such as bromelias and orchids that dangle from the trees. The spot commands a spectacular view of cabrón headland, which stretches for almost 10km to the northeast.
