Take a comfortable bus ride to Jarabacoa, located in the heart of the Dominican Republic's mountain region. After eating breakfast at the Baiguate Ranch, head to the Yaque del Norte River and push off for your 2-hour raft ride! As your raft travels over rapids and through river bends, admire the area's lush flora. Each raft has an expert tour guide to answer any of your questions about the area. Once you're back on land, take a rest at the ranch and enjoy tasty Dominican cuisine. The return trip will pass the Cibao region's scenic mountains, valleys, and rustic villages.
Schedule:
7 AM–7:30 AM: Pick up at Puerto Plata hotels
10 AM: Arrival at the Baiguate Ranch; start rafting
12:30 PM: Lunch and relaxation
3 PM: Departure to Puerto Plata
5:30 PM: Arrive back at hotels
