The sumptuous "golden" Playa Dorada stretches for several kilometres. It is the site of an immense tourist structure composed of fifteen luxury "all inclusive" hotels. If you're looking for a public beach, head for Cofresí or Costambar. Night birds may be interested to know that Playa Dorada is not subject to the law that prohibits the sale of alcohol or activities past midnight.
