Río San Juan and its vicinity boast some very attractive beaches: Playa Caletón, the most charming, the famous Playa Grande, near the magnificent Playa Grande golf course (a.k.a. the "pebble beach" of the Caribbean), Playa Preciosa, Cabo Francés and la Entrada.
