Located in a pretty painted wooden house fronted by columns, the Museo Folklórico Tomás Morel illustrates the latter's passion for folklore. Right from the doorstep, the huge masks hanging from the walls immerse the visitor in a carnival atmosphere. The eclectic collection is comprised of an amazing clutter of unusual, colourful and personal objects that relate the story of the villages of the Cibao Valley. Tomás Morel's son, whose passion is equally communicative, runs the museum today.
