Playa Sosúa, the bay's largest beach, is accessible from both parts of the town, either by foot from El Batey, or by car from Los Charamicos. It is invariably packed from 11am to 5pm at weekends. Go in the morning and make your way to the lovely beaches on the outer edges of the bay such as Playa Libre, Playa Chiquita (near Hotel Casa Marina), Puerto Chiquito (just before Sosúa).
