Several kilometres east of Miches, on the way to Redonda and Limón lagoons, a string of pristine beaches amply justify the Emerald coast name of this section of the coast. The most beautiful, Playa de Esmeralda, ("emerald beach"), is ideal for swimming and relaxing, with its crystal-clear water and palm trees. Playa Punta el Rey also boasts a truly captivating unspoiled landscape.
