Discover the towns of Edfu and Kom Ombo while you explore their respective temples on this full-day excursion. Your first stop is the Temple of Edfu, thought to be one of Egypt's best preserved cult temples. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, the temple is believed to be the site where Horus avenged the murder of his father, Osiris. Later, travel to the banks of the Nile to see the Temple of Kom Ombo, unique for its two entrances. This historic temple overlooks the Nile and is dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris and the crocodile-headed Sobek.
