Set out from Luxor and cross to the Western shores of the Nile, towards the ancient city of Thebes. See the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which tower over the Theban Necropolis, facing the mighty Nile River. Continue to the Valley of the Kings, home to some of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, and see the magnificent tombs and monuments that are carved deep into the desert rock. Visit three tombs, all of which are richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. Move on from the tombs to the impressive Hatshepsut temple at El Deir El Bahary, dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut.
