The Culture Museum, opened in 1999, is part of the national museum of Finland. Its major collections from all over the world. Its collections were brought together by explorers, missionaries, scholars and art collectors. The objective is to show the world's cultural diversity in order to advocate tolerance and a multi-cultural education. Although there is no permanent exhibition, there is a succession of temporary exhibitions, including travelling exhibitions from both Finland and abroad.
