This Crafts Museum, founded in 1940 and better known as the Luostarinmäki open-air museum, has eighteen artisans' wooden houses, remaining in their original position and well preserved. In each one, visitors can see artisans at work in various workshops dating from the 19C. The sounds and smells will lead you from one workshop to another to see the demonstrations of traditional techniques given by the young artisans. Various trades are presented in summer: silversmith, furrier, weaver, baker, blacksmith, etc.
