A black Virgin venerated in the Ardennes which gave, in the 19th century, the name to this Basilica in the late Gothic style, with the exception of the doorway to the clock tower built in the 17th C. The interior is impressive as much for the size of the nave as for its vaulted ceilings with hanging keystones. Attractive non-figurative stained glass windows created between 1955 and 1979 by René Durrbach.
