The Côte des Blancs stretches from Epernay to Vertus. It is named after its white-grape vineyards, consisting almost exclusively of Chardonnay vines, which produce elegant vintages and blanc de blancs Champagne. Villages with twisting lanes are dotted along the slopes. Stop off at the lovely village of Cramant, known for its wine, and Mesnil-sur-Oger, where you can visit the Musée de la Vigne et du Vin.
