A giant, 34-tonnes tun, with a 215 000-bottle capacity is set in the centre of the reception area. A spectacular descent in a panoramic lift precedes the tour of the cellars (18km of galleries hollowed out in 1858) on board a small automatic train running through galleries decorated with sculptures carved into the chalk walls by the Châlons sculptor, Navlet.
