This church demands one's attention through its majestic proportions. The neoclassical façade of red sandstone is decorated with statues representing the theological and cardinal virtues. Inside, the masterly elevation boasts a thoroughly Roman pomp. There is an outstanding high relief composition in the high altar on the theme of the Assumption, by the sculptor Fidèle Sporrer.
