Founded in 660 by a nephew of King Dagobert, today this abbey belongs to the Moët et Chandon company, and you will therefore not be surprised to learn that the famous Dom Perignon is buried at the entrance to the chancel. In the monks' chancel (17C-18C), which is decorated with wood panelling, there are two religious works from the Philippe of Champagne school. Above the main altar there is a large ornamental chandelier, made from four grape-pressing wheels.
