The museum is particularly devoted to paintings of the 17 and 18C. (Brueghel the Younger, Teniers, Ruysdel and Boucher) and a number of Alsatian masters with a folk influence. There are canvases by Jean-Jacques Henner (1829-1905), landscapes and still-lifes by Lehmann and compositions by Charles Walch (1896-1948).
