This exhibition begins with a large-scale illuminated model with an audio commentary tracing the importance of electricity in the modern world and highlighting its main modes of production. This is followed by interactive displays outlining the history of electricity from Antiquity to the 20C. Various events and temporary exhibitions add to the overall enjoyment for visitors, such as the electrostatic theatre, where the exhibits will literally make your hair stand on end!
