As part of Operation Wendel 2000, Philippe Jean installed an «introductory journey» through the history of the coalmining basin of Lorraine. Housed in a massive square building, this abitious project should lead to the creation of a mining museum and a large cultural cross-border project with Völklingen Hütt, an industrial German site that specialises in steel production.
