The Old Town includes Rue Clémenceau with a Renaissance well in the courtyard of n° 6, or Rue Saint-Laurent with the façades of n° 11 and n° 19. At n° 39, Général Duroc, hero of Austerlitz and Wagram (two well-known Paris Métro station names!) was born.
