The Maison des Sept Péchés capitaux (House of the Seven Deadly Sins), with its caryatids and towers, is where the dukes of Lorraine used to stay. The town hall is decorated with a pediment, and its council room contains tapestries showing scenes from mythology from sketches by Le Brun. Surely the councillors took all their knowledge from these during their deliberations.
