this old Episcopal palace was built in 1690 by Robert de Cotte and Mansart. In the salle du Tau - the setting for the banquets which followed the coronation of France's kings - there is an exhibition which explains the tradition of the ceremonies. The palace houses a part of the cathedral's original statuary. the treasury contains an exceptional 9C Charlemagne talisman, a chalice from the 12C and reliquaries of Sainte-Epine, Sainte-Ursule and Sainte-Ampoule.
