The semi-pedestrianised Grand'Rue, which runs through the town, is renowned for the workmanship of its half-timbered houses. The south and east entrances to the town are marked by two towers on which storks have made their nests. Also worthy of note are the Pfifferhüs (restaurant), the door of which is crowned by a representation of the Annunciation; the corn exchange; a red and yellow sandstone fountain (1536) with a heraldic lion; the Tour des Bouchers (Butchers’ Tower); and Place de la Sinne.
