The abbatial church was built in the classic style in red sandstone. There are luminous modern stained-glass windows, 18C wood panelling, a stone 15C retable and a poignant sculpted group at the bottom of the lower left side.

Spread over 45 ha are the graves of 10,489 soldiers and airmen who fell during the liberation of Europe. In the Memorial Chapel a ceramic map details the main military operations.
