Sarreguemines Travel guide
Sarreguemines : Michelin's recommendations
Everything in Sarreguemines is centred round ceramics and porcelain, major activities here since 1790. Nearly 3 000 workers were employed in the early 20C. Visits to the factories and workshops, a testimony to this still thriving activity, are a must, although local industry has specialised in tile manufacture since 1979. Do not overlook the banks of the River Sarre and the River Blies, offering some wonderful walks.
