Two churches, one Catholic, the other Protestant, stand side-by-side here. The left transept of the Catholic church is embellished with wood panels carved by Veit Wagner, while the end of the chancel is decorated with scenes from the Passion attributed to the Strasbourg artist, Henri Lutzelman. The painted panels in the right transept are from the Schongauer School.
