Church of St Peter and St Paul Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

This 13C Gothic church, made of sandstone, was originally a 7C Benedictine monastery. A square bell-tower, a vestige of the earlier Romanesque church adjoins the right side of the building. The heads were removed from its statues and its paintings destroyed in the Revolution. It was then turned into a forage store. It has a homogenous Gothic interior. Note the 11m-high fresco of St Christopher, dating from the 15C, and some stained-glass windows dating from the 13C.
