The first sign you see of the museum dedicated to woodwork and heritage is a sculpture of a horse towing wooden logs. On the ground floor you can find out about woodcutting techniques, from the days of pit sawyers up until the machine age, with a saw powered by a steam machine dating back to 1896 (live demonstration). In the basement you can explore two workshops: one for making clogs and one for making boxes to contain cheese; on the first floor there is a collection of wooden toys; in the attic there are reconstructions of craftsmen's workshops. Wooden sculptures are dotted about the grounds.
