Hohneck Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

This is one of the most famous and one of the highest summits of the Vosges Mountains (alt 1 362m), and is also the highest point of the ridge which, before the First World War, marked the border between France and Germany. A splendid panorama unfolds, encompassing the Vosges from Donon to the Grand Ballon, the Plaine d'Alsace and the Black Forest. In fine weather, the summits of the Alps are visible.

    Pros

    Pour moi c le plus beau site des Vosges, le paysage le plus alpin. Je fréquente le coin depuis mes 11ans je vais en avoir 70, j'éprouve toujours la même émotion quand j'y suis.
