Most of Le Brézouard can be explored from the comfort of your car once you have reached the Col des Bagenelles (4km), from where there is a fine view over the Vallée de la Liepvrette. You can see for miles around from the summit of Le Brézouard. To the north you will see the Champ du Feu, the Climont and, in the distance, Mt Donon. To the northeast, Strasbourg is visible. To the south you can see the Hohneck and the Grand Ballon. You can just make out Mt Blanc in the distance on a fine day. Le Brézouard and its surrounding region were strategically key areas in the First World War (trenches and shelters).
