The nature park stretches from the Vallée de Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines in the north to the outskirts of Belfort in the south. It is renowned for the diversity of its landscape: high-altitude pastureland (high stubble fields on the Petit Ballon and the Grand Ballon), the Plateau des Mille-Étangs, peat bogs, glacial cirques, lakes, rivers and hills covered with conifers… The park is home to chamois, lynx, crayfish and trout, and you will also see Martagon lilies, great yellow gentians and bilberry growing here. The so-called "blue line of the Vosges" offers endless possibilities to explore and relax.
