This former royal works for the production of printed fabric has been fully restored, and now comprises a textile museum, four gardens, a farmhouse and a footpath leading through the grounds. As well as giving visitors an overview of the history of the site and its different owners, the museum expands upon the history of cotton and the production of Indienne fabric. Demonstrations show you how the different machinery works. The gardens, which abound with rare species, host the Festival of Hybrid Gardens in summer, during which visitors can admire gardens created for the occasion. The farm is home to animals once put to work in the textile industry.
