Excavations carried out at the Benedictine Abbey revealed two successive churches (9C and 10C) and an 11C abbey church. From the latter, there remains the narthex (a kind of vestibule), housing a Gallo-Roman sarcophagus, and the first bay featuring capitals characteristic of the Brionnais region. Do not miss: the cloister, the chapter house and the Prior's chapel, dating from the 15C and 16C, the Parlour and the Cellar, respectively housing a lapidary museum and a museum of religious art. One gets an overall view from the charter-keeper's room.
