Le Mont-Dore Travel guide
Le Mont-Dore : Michelin's recommendations
Le Mont-Dore stretches out along the banks of the upper reaches of the River Dordogne, surrounded by a magnificent cirque of mountains overshadowed by the Puy de Sancy. It is a spa town from May to October and a well-equipped sports resort in winter. Signposted paths enable visitors to admire the striking beauty of the snow-covered volcanic landscape. In summer, the resort offers a wide range of leisure facilities and is an ideal base for excursions.
