Saint-Chamond : Michelin's recommendations

An important industrial centre, Saint-Chamond rounds up forges steel works, engineering works, plastic manufacturers... This taste for heavy industry, greatly inspired its mayor Antoine Pinay (1891-1994), who in 1960 fathered the «heavy» franc (yes, yes, remind yourselves what there was before the euro). As for the formula 1 pilot (and today manufacturer), Alain Prost, he orginates from here.
