This Gallo-Roman town, stretching for over 3ha, has been the site of archeological digs since 1967. Situated on the right bank of the Rhône, facing Vienne, it was a district of the town in Gallo-Roman times. Archeological digs have uncovered a veritable urban settlement, indicating that Vienne was one of the most important towns in Gaul from the reign of Augustus onwards. This group of ruins will be a source of pleasure for those who appreciate ancient monuments.
