Villeurbanne : Michelin's recommendations

The "Villa Urbana" of the Romans may very well adjoin Lyons but it zealously maintains its independence! In the 19C, the silk merchants brought about the first boom, but it was during the 20C that the town's development increased and the skyscraper quarter developed. Today, the city counts on its culture: apart from the media library entrusted to Mario Botta, an Institute of Contemporary Art, a Centre for Antique Dealers, it has welcomed the TNP directed by Roger Planchon.
