Because of its stunning viewpoints, the Haute Corniche is the most impressive section of the Gorges de l'Ardèche. From Saint-Remèze, drive past the Cathédrale and La Madeleine belvederes, stopping along the way to visit the cave of the same name, then the Grand Belvédère, the St-Marcel cave, and the Colombier and Ranc-Pointu belvederes. This superb route will reveal the hidden corners of these twisting and rugged gorges which widen into a fertile valley and ultimately the Rhône.
