This memorial depicts some of the great events in the history of Bonifacio, such as the visits of Charles V and Napoleon Bonaparte, and the sinking of La Sémillante in the Lavezzi islands. A copy of the “Dame de Bonifacio” and the fossilised skeleton of a Turkish soldier are also displayed here.
