The former Palais du Podestat (the residence of the city’s magistrate), a building with medieval-style arcades, stands opposite Ste-Marie-Majeure church. To the right (rue du Palais), the limestone façade of the Palazzu Publicu, the former city hall, is embellished with an arcature frieze on the first floor.
