Pros
Amazing place. Use the footpath running along the far side of the alignments from the road for views of the alignments. You lose the crowds the further you walk. Good views down the length of the alignments from the old windmill in the middle of the Kermario alignements. To be able to walk freely among stones, visit Le Petit Menec. Few people find them.
Cons
Public toilets in the car park at Maison des Megaliths - heavily used and not good. English books in Maison des Megaliths often have quite a large mark up and are not good value. Take a note of the title and author and buy once back home. Poor selection of expensive postcards.

Pros
you must visit this place. if you go off season you can walk and touch the menirs, otherwise they are fenced off. very special place...not quite sure what my own conclusion is but vertainly a great site and lots of other sites nearby too. good local museum, lots of books, multi-lingual.
Cons
beware of the weather - will make a huge difference as it is very exposed.
