The Fishing Museum Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Situated in the former naval dockyard, this museum clearly shows the evolution of fishing which goes from the ancient methods up to the most modern techniques. Some ten boats are reminiscent of the different traditional and modern fishing methods (whales, cod, tuna, sardine, herrings). One can also see the 1984 Commandant Garreau lifeboat or climb inside the Hémérica (trawler laid up in 1981) and imagine the life-size binnacle used by the fishermen.
